First time doing anything like this so bare with me as I learn the ropes and wing my way through things.
So a little about me.
My name is Royce I am a Shepherd from the Hawkes Bay region of New Zealand, originally from Gisborne, born and raised on the coast. I grew up hunting, fishing, diving and being a coast kid, it was 40 minutes one way to get the mail and 3 hours one way to our nearest city.
I attended boarding school at St Peters school Cambridge NZ until year 12 then left and studied at Taratahi Agriculture training school in Masterton NZ for 2 years. After 2 years studying I began working in Gisborne as a Junior Shepard. Moved to Hastings to be closer to my partner and started working for Landcorp, from there we moved to Awapai farm. Nestled up the Whanawhana valley at the base of the Ruahine ranges, stunning scenery and good hunting.
We started to plan our big OE in 2016, so 2 years in the making here we are. On the cusp of the great step into the wide world and all the adventure that awaits. Lots of planning and googling and YouTube-ing and TripAdvisor-ing the countdown is on!
